The Kenyan Empowerment Newspaper touts itself as the largest Kenyan newspaper in the US, yet at this time of crisis, there is not a single article on their website referring to the situation back in Kenya. Is it just us who are missing something here or is something amiss? We would have expected some leadership from them especially at this time when all Kenyans NEED to come together and find a solution to this crisis.Perhaps they are addressing it on the hard copy. I hope so. We will try to get hold of a hard copy.Just curious.

Hi Kenyan Observer. Thank you for commenting on beninmwangi. Kenya Empowerment News is a monthly publication, I am sure that they will address the issues soon as the January edition is due out anyday now. Also, I wanted to let you know that you can find me on the African Path at http://www.africanpath.com . There are several articles up re: the situation in Kenya (http://africanpath.com/p_blog.cfm?blogID=136) there, these articles are not written by myself but by several concerned Kenyans. BTW, there is another site called kenyanemergency.wordpress.com which is also doing some helpful work as well on the situation. Otherwise, be strong and be in touch-you may contact me anytime.

That newspaper isn’t worth the paper it is printed on. First of all it was very partisan before the election, not that that in itself is wrong but a neutral media source is more respected. But now after the election they have nothing to say. Try send a letter to the editor about it, I have tried to suggest changes for a long time to no avail.
