A Kenyan, K. Moguche, has won US $153,000 in an online ad-clicking competition called Pixelotto.

Here is a statement about his winnings from the website;

Congratulations to K. Moguche of Kenya who is the winner of Pixelotto and receives $153,000 USD

Speaking of his win, Mr Moguche said, “It feels great to be the winner in Pixelotto. I didn’t sleep the night I found out I won.“I intend to buy a house for my family (I am married with three sons). I will use $15,000 to support the education needs of bright students from poor families and displaced people currently living in temporary refugee camps, in Kenya’s current post-election violence.

I also intend to start a profit making venture, of which 10% of the profit will be set aside for a family charity foundation I intend to set up. The foundation will be supporting the education and medical needs of bright students from poor families.”Aside from Mr Moguche’s charitable aims with his own winnings, he also had the opportunity to select a charitable organization to receive the Pixelotto charity fund of $15,300 USD.Mr Moguche’s chosen charity is the La Vie Foundation based in Nairobi, Kenya.

The foundation supports displaced and poverty-stricken people in some of the poorest in Kenya, and is currently overstretched financially due to the huge numbers of displaced people following post-election violence in Kenya.

We hope the $15,300 donation will help make a difference.For more information on the La Vie Foundation, call William O. Akech at +254 0724 518 158
