Raila backs down, says he is "flexible"

The Nation newspaper is reporting that Opposition leader Raila Odinga is backing down from his previous demand that the presidency was stolen from him and that the only option was for President Mwai Kibaki to step down.

He said that the country is faced with issues that must no longer be swept and left under the carpet.
