We’ve turned in all the paperwork and called in the numbers to the democratic party. Barack Obama won decisively in my precinct’s caucus. Just got back home and it turns out this is a very close race. Will keep fingers crossed. My campaigning work is done. A permanent chair and secretary were elected, delegates were elected. My job as precinct captain and temporary chair is over.I think if we can hold Houston, Dallas and Austin we will be good.Need to run back and watch the numbers. Will post a more detailed post later about my experience in the trenches of the primary campaigning and vote here in TX.
