Cheques worth kshs 96 million written for Safaricom shares are fraudulent

Fraudulent cheques include some from stock brokerage companies

Business Daily newspaper is reporting that a huge amount of checks written to purchase shares in Safaricom are fraudulent.Receiving banks have written a letter to the Kenya Bankers Association seeking direction on how to proceed with this issue.Full Story – Business Daily
