US envoy calls for investigation of Kenyan military after reports of torture

After several reports of torture by the Kenyan military in their efforts to “get rid of criminals” in the western part of the country, the US ambassador in Kenya has asked for an investigation into the allegations and has said that aid will not be cut at this time.International Herald Tribune
