Canadian missionary couple returning home

John and Eloise Bergen are returning back to Vernon, British Columbia after they are fully recovered and are strong enough to handle the long flight back to Canada.It seems like pressure from the couple’s family and friends has caused the turnaround from last week when Ms Bergen said from her hospital bed that they had resolved to stay on in Kenya.One thing the couple will do before they leave Kenya is visit the prison where their assailants are being held to offer them forgiveness.National Post
