Really sad. I actually tend to think boarding schools are a good idea after a child has spent some of his or her formative years at home. I hated boarding school when I attended but I must say that I look back and I'm grateful for the decision my mother made to have me attend.

Do Away with Boarding Schoolsi would rather the whole concept of boarding schools be done away with because the blame game will always go on.Parents may think that taking a child to boarding school will change the child but thats not the case by the time the child goes to boarding to school he/she is already indisciplined so boarding just worsens the situation, now in boarding the child will get a chance to get into vices because they know that their parents are not around, don't even dare say the teachers are there that won't help because all this vices continue under the teachers/schools nose!Canning a child is no help either, how do you cane a child who goes to buy petrol from wherever and burns the dormitory and kills others in there? this child has gone to the extent of murdering colleagues which also means he can do the same to their parents without being remorseful and again its not ignorance!.We should all agree that we are to blame, parents, teachers, government and we have failed the children, the parents are the first teachers of a child, the days when a child belonged to a society are long gone. May be we should bring them back, going westwards isn't working.
