Briefs: NJ company hired to build powerplants for Seacom

Kullman buildings Corp., of Lebanon, NJ has been hired by Tyco Telecommunications to build 8 powerplants that will provide power to the SEACOM infrastructure along the east coast of Africa. The SEACOM project is due to come online in June of 2009. The power plants will be built at the company’s New Jersey headquarters and transported by ship to Africa.
