Kenya Airways disaster over Cameroon: Boeing sued in Chicago
May 24, 2009
Written by kenyanobserver, in Featured, KENYA
Frustrated with an investigation that has yet to yield even preliminary findings, ten claimants in the UK have submitted a writ in Chicago federal court requiring documents related to the accident investigation findings be released.
Lawyers for the group suspect that a defect on the plane’s spoilers may have been responsible for the accident based on previous incidents on this same aircraft but cannot prove this until documents related to the May 7, 2007 accident in which authorities from Kenyan, Cameroon and the United States are involved in the investigation, are released.
