Clinging to foreign posts is not uniquely Kenyan

When Kenyan diplomats were recalled back to base quite a few months ago, several protested including our very own honorable Ambassador Ogego who has since returned back to Kenya. Some claimed to have “invested” in the post
and had not recouped enough returns while others flat out ignored the order.
It turns out that this is not a problem unique to Kenya. Up in the Philippines, only 7 out of 25 diplomats returned home within the deadline set by the new Aquino administration and the government is threatening to ask for assistance from the host governments to have the diplomats forcefully removed from their posts.
