Kenya Airways launches Nairobi-Guangzhou nonstop flight

Kenya Airways has launched a nonstop flight from Nairobi to Guangzhou making it the first airline in Sub-Saharan Africa to launch a non-stop flight to mainland China.
According to the Chinese travel news website, chinahospitalitynews.com, there will be three flights operated on the airline’s Boeing 777 aircraft on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Finnish company, Nokia, the world’s leading mobile phone supplier established a research centre for Africa in Nairobi, September 30. Nokia Research Africa (NoRA) will work with Universities and NGOs to come up with solutions suited better suited for the African market.
